Cleanliness drive in Suvali


Vedanta Cairn, the Oil & Gas arm of Vedanta Limited recently conducted a cleanliness drive at Suvali beach. As a part of government’s Swachhata Pakhwada program, the cleanliness drive was carried out at the beach where there onshore terminal is located. The program spanned from May 1st to 15th, saw participation of Vedanta Cairn’s employees in huge number for the cleanliness drive.

Swachhata Pakhwada, fortnight initiative managed by the Ministry of Urban Development aims at promoting cleanliness. It has an intense focus on the issues and practices of Swachhata by engaging GOI ministries/departments in the respective jurisdictions. The Ministries observing Swachhata Pakhwada are monitored closely using online monitoring system of Swachhata Samiksha where action plans, images, videos related to Swachhata activities are uploaded and shared.
